Diesel Mechanic

Eagle Recruitment is seeking 5 qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics.
As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy diesel engines and related systems. The ideal candidates will have extensive diesel engine and heavy machinery experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Skills in:

Excellent fault diagnostic skills, including fault finding with electronic equipment and fitting skills
Basic welding and machining skills
Excellent English communication skills are a must. Plus a driver's licence.
Fault finding in Hydraulics
Trade certified

Applicants must:

Be willing to undergo occasional drug tests while employed
Be flexible with work hours
Have NZ residency citizenship or a valid NZ work visa

The successful applicants will have the opportunity to work in different locations (Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington, Nelson-Tasman, Marlborough, West Coast,  Canterbury, Otago and Southland), providing a unique chance to explore New Zealand's diverse regions.The pay rate starts from $29.66 to $32.00 per hour, depending on skills and qualifications.
Regular work hours are 30 hours per week.
