Kia ora e te whanau , Toll People are currently seeking skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics to cross the ditch to join one of our workshops across multiple locations in Australia. These are permanent positions with rates up to $70 per hour , fantastic benefits, and the opportunity to work on one of the most extensive logistics fleets in the country.

What Does a Day as a Toll Diesel Mechanic Look Like?

Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on heavy diesel machinery, including American and European trucks and trailers

Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems

Ordering and replacing parts as needed

Keeping accurate records of work performed and parts used

Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Communicating effectively with supervisors and other team members

Our Key Skills and Experience

Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic

Unrestricted Australian Working Rights

Demonstrated experience working on heavy diesel vehicles

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

Excellent problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
