Join the Taranaki Diabetes Integrated team as a Diabetes Specialist Dietitian and make a meaningful impact in diabetes care!
This role is crucial in providing comprehensive support to individuals living with diabetes and their families. As a key player in our integrated care model, you will collaborate with partner organisations to deliver high-quality dietetic services across various settings.
Your role will involve conducting assessments, interventions, and education tailored to meet the holistic needs of patients. You will be instrumental in empowering patients towards self-management through patient-centric care.
With your expertise in nutrition education for diabetes management, you will enhance the community's understanding of effective interventions.

Mou - About you
NZ Registered Dietitian with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
Dietitian Prescriber Endorsement
Full and current drivers' licence
Minimum of 5 years' postgraduate experience in clinical, primary care and community settings
Recent clinical experience in diabetes management
Commitment to achieving health equity for Maori
Work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Experience in patient and staff education
