To help us bring our vision for Portainer to life, we're searching for a skilled, experienced, self-driven DevRel (Tech Evangelist) who will become the driving force in spreading the word about all of Portainer's awesome functionality to our user community.
We're currently flexible on whether this role is part-time or full-time.
As our DevRel what will you be responsible for?
Delivering content that supports and drives end-users use of Portainer (producing a flow of high-quality video and blog content to engage the community) Technical Community engagement across all platforms to resolve issues and teach end-users Providing learnings from the community back into the Product Team to ensure the product is the best possible for our end-users.
Aligning marketing materials and documentation to ensure consistency and fit for Portainer Where is the role located?
This is a remote role, and Portainer is a global company with employees around the world however our DevRel needs to be able to work closely with our current marketing team who is based in New Zealand.
Therefore priority will be given to candidates in locations that have good timezone crossover with NZT.
Requirements A combination of technical product, video production and social media skills.
Understanding of Kubernetes, Linux, Docker, Podman and large-scale deployments Developer educator/evangelist related experiences Experience creating video content (script writing, screen recording, on-camera presentation) Comfortable translating the benefits of technology to technical oriented people Knowledge of 'cloud tech' and developer tools and methodologies Experience with giving product demonstrations Comfortable engaging in Social Media channels Native English fluency Benefits Portainer is already experiencing huge growth; however, we're still very much in our infancy.
