Development Project Manager

At FH Group, we are a leading development and construction company specializing in new residential developments in the Wellington Region. With a portfolio of projects spanning the region, we remain dedicated to upholding our renowned reputation of delivering homes of exceptional quality.We are on the hunt for a proficient Project Manager to run our onsite developments. This role will see you managing projects from concept to completion which will involve coordinating and managing demolition, earthworks, civil & drainage and 223/224 council sign off. You will play a pivotal part in setting up sites for our construction teams' future work, ensuring we are ahead of their demands.Being the Project Manager, you will be responsible for:Managing projects from initial handover through to final delivery, on time and within budgetCoordinating tendering and engaging contractors and suppliersLeading and managing operational teams, including internal operators, drainlayers, truck drivers, labourers & subcontractorsInvoice approvals and project close-outSupporting the development team in project budgets if requiredWe require from you:A solid understanding of the land development subdivision process, from civil & drainage works onsite to 223/224 sign off, particularly in residential projectsKnowledge of earthworks, civil & drainage, retaining walls and other associated site worksAbility to run multiple projects at any one timeExperience working with consultants, contractors, and clientsFinancial management, invoicing, and budgeting skillsProficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint would be an added advantageFull clean Class 1 driver's licenseStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to motivate and influence others while demonstrating integrity and trust.What you will receive from us:A company vehicle, laptop and phoneAn established company with a large pipeline of workA fun, supportive and collaborative working environmentCompany Social EventsThis role is 7:30am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday.
