Details of the offer

Fluid Recruitment is proud to exclusively partner with Yinson Renewables in search of a Project Manager, driving development of New Zealand's onshore wind developments. The Company Yinson currently invests in five business units: Yinson Production, Yinson Renewables, Yinson GreenTech, Farosson, and Regulus Offshore, driving innovative solutions across the energy industry. Yinson Renewables is on track to becoming a leading global renewable energy independent power producer. Their primary focus is onshore wind and solar, and they operate across the full value chain, beginning from early-stage site investigation, gaining necessary consents to build, offtake agreements, financing, constructing, and ultimately delivering and managing operational generation assets. Since the establishment of the unit in 2019, they have developed a significant portfolio of renewable energy projects spanning internationally across 9 key locations. With New Zealand's growing demand for energy, Yinson Renewables is currently developing a portfolio with a focus on onshore wind farms which will be built, owned, and operated by the group. With proven success across the globe, this is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of experts, supporting the growth of sustainable energy solutions. The Role You will work closely with Yinson Renewables' Country Manager, managing contracts and overseeing project plans to drive development for their portfolio. This will see you as an expert in contract management and project planning. On a day-to-day basis, you'll utilise your strong communication skills and attention to detail, working through consents, managing contracts, and overseeing financials. Revising and building upon your knowledge of legal frameworks, permits, and compliance for past and new energy works is desirable. You will be at the forefront of the projects, acting as a brand ambassador for Yinson Renewables, engaging and sharing the vision of a sustainable energy future with key stakeholders. You are set to establish and build upon relationships with Iwi, Local Government, Consultants, Contractors, Landowners & Asset Owners, and vital community parties. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the founding phase of projects set to leave a positive legacy on New Zealand's energy sector. Yinson Renewables has a base in Auckland, but with projects across the greater North Island, the location is flexible and they offer a hybrid working approach. About You Coming from a background in energy or infrastructure sectors, you will be a detail-oriented individual with a proven track record of delivering the development of large-scale infrastructure assets. Bringing strong expertise in relationship management and consenting, you will bring a methodical approach to Project Management, utilising your experience to drive the development of New Zealand's energy sector. As part of a global organisation, you'll bring a collaborative approach to process, engaging with key internal and external stakeholders. The Opportunity Yinson Renewables is an international industry leader and the role is a genuinely unique opportunity to undertake the development of onshore renewable energy assets which will support New Zealand's energy sector for generations to come. Yinson is determined to do their part in the global movement towards a low-carbon, climate-resilient environment. In March 2021, they established Climate Goals to be carbon neutral by 2030 and net zero by 2050. These form part of Yinson's overarching sustainability focus that drives them to contribute as much as possible to strengthen the world's collective foundation for a durable, equitable and sustainable economy. Yinson is a dynamic and internationally diverse organisation who celebrate their people as their most valuable assets. Their values of being Reliable, Open, Adaptable, Decisive, and Sustainable (ROADS) are the foundation to achieving their mission of passionately delivering powerful solutions.
