Development Engineer I

WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO: A Development Engineer I at Rocket Lab is responsible for contributing to product upkeep,andare given a design or test focused role assigned by management.
Increased responsibility overthe junior position provides more scope to perform low risk engineering with less requirement of
experienced engineer reviews for allocated tasks.
YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS: Experience from previous employment that meets engineering experience title and skillsAble to effectively transfer skills to rocket technology where applicable and still deliver required company outcomesProven track record of contributing a successful engineering project from conception to operationExperience working with one or more of the analysis types below to solve industry problems applicable to rocketsStructural static and/or non-linear analysisModal and/or frequency domain analysisComputational fluid dynamics analysisHeat transfer or thermal analysisFatigue and/or creep analysisDFMEA and/or PFMEA analysisDMAIC and/or fishbone analysis1 year industry experienceEngineering degree THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE: Masters or PhDRocketry or FSAE experience through university or previous employmentIf the above sounds like youapplynow!
