Job Description About the Role: Join WM New Zealand as a Despatch & Weighbridge Coordinator, where you'll lead fleet scheduling, driver management, and ensure the safe handling of hazardous and medical waste. You'll dispatch jobs, balance driver workloads, and excel in customer service—answering inquiries and booking jobs across all services. Plus, oversee waste movement, ensuring meticulous recording and strict compliance with regulations. Ready to make a difference? Apply now to join our team What's Involved: Manage job requests from logging to allocation on the appropriate route, ensuring customers are informed of service schedules. Monitor route progress to ensure all jobs are completed on time and satisfactory. Track and manage reallocated or rescheduled jobs due to driver actions. Handle incidents, accidents, and driver absenteeism promptly and effectively. Receipt incoming and outgoing vehicles and products, maintaining accurate records. Direct traffic on site and oversee vehicle movements to ensure safety and efficiency. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with inquiries, ensuring compliance with documentation requirements, and maintaining high standards of professionalism. Qualifications Skills and Requirements: Proven experience in despatch coordination or fleet scheduling, ideally in logistics or waste management. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interactions with drivers and customers. Familiarity with hazardous waste handling regulations is advantageous. Proficiency in MS Office and despatch management tools.
