Job Description:
As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. You will respond to queries, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, and determine and implement solutions.
Responsibilities: Provide first and second-level contact and convey resolutions to user issuesProperly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of supportTrack, route, and redirect problems to correct resourcesUpdate customer data and produce activity reportsWalk customers through the problem-solving processFollow up with customers, provide feedback and see problems through to resolutionutilise excellent customer service skills and exceed customers' expectationsEnsure proper recording, documentation, and closureRecommended procedure modifications or improvementsPreserve and grow your knowledge of help desk procedures, products, and servicesRequirements: One year of proven working experience in providing help desk supportProficiency in Windows/Mac OS environmentsWorking knowledge of help desk software, databases, and remote controlStrong client-facing and communication skillsAdvanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skillsCustomer service orientationBS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent TJ3770517Must be available to start Monday 22nd April for 4 month contractLooking for a junior with 1-3 years experience in a Desktop/Helpdesk enviornmentGreat opportunity to get more work experience- Must be available immediately
