About the opportunity As a Desktop Engineer in the Provisioning team, you will be responsible for the setting up and builds of desktops, laptops, handheld devices, and tablets across the Australia offices of Fletcher Building. Your responsibilities will include device configuration, diagnosing technical issues, and repairing/replacing devices when needed. You will take ownership of issues from start to finish as well as escalating them as and when needed. This role supports the Windows refresh project and would require you to be based on site 5 days a week in our Penrose office. About you To be considered for this role, you will have at least 2 years' experience as a Service Desk Analyst with advanced experience in technical customer support for IT systems, applications & hardware devices (desktops, laptops, mobile devices). We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and confident communicating at all levels including translating technical into common business language. Your previous experience will demonstrate: At least two years of IT Service Desk experience including configuration, diagnosis, maintenance, repair and replacement of equipment.Advanced knowledge and skills with Windows 10 – especially from a support perspective Microsoft Endpoint Manager experience (SOE deployment, application packaging/deployment)Excellent troubleshooting skills; verbal and written communication skillsExperience with ServiceNow advantageous.Relevant IT accreditation or certifications.
