Marketing Communications (Marketing & Communications) Avanti Finance Group is a privately owned non-bank lender operating across New Zealand and Australia. The Designer reports to the Head of Marketing and will play a pivotal role in elevating our design to the next level. As we embark on a significant period of growth, the Designer will be responsible for providing end-to-end design and production expertise across our marketing activity, documents, collateral, sales materials, and merchandise. In this role, you can expect to: Provide design support for our marketing activity – print and digital advertising, email and direct mail communications, social posts, internal comms, and intranet content. Create and maintain documents and collateral, i.e., legal documents, forms/editable PDFs, product material, and posters. Design presentations and key stakeholder updates, i.e., investor packs, shareholder updates, and sales presentations. Brand guardianship and correct application of our brand and writing guidelines. Maintain business templates for the wider organisation to use, i.e., PowerPoint, letters, etc. Source promotional items and manage print suppliers. We're looking for candidates who have: Minimum of 3-4 years' experience in a design studio environment. Tertiary qualification in design or similar, or able to demonstrate capability through work history and portfolio. Experience using various design tools, i.e., InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, etc. Proficient in using Microsoft Office. Experience in, or an interest in, learning video editing. An interest in future design/production trends and the ability to adapt to change. Confident communicating with people at all levels. Excellent attention to detail. Highly motivated, with the ability to work autonomously, manage deadlines and communicate accordingly. Inquisitive, not afraid to ask questions and always looking to improve. What's in it for me?
