We are looking for an experienced Design/ Engineering Manager to provide effective and motivated leadership to the Development of the Design & Co-ordination of the HVAC Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic & Fire Protection (MEP&F) services for the Design & Build works.

Responsibilities of the role include:
Undertake the necessary design work as well as directing the externally resourced mechanical/ Hydraulic/ Electrical/ Fire Protection (MEP&F) Engineers
Ensure all engineering is developed with the CAD/ Revit Team to ensure all engineering and draughting work on our MEP&F projects is planned, executed, and delivered
Manage the CAD/ Revit Modellers to produce high quality HVAC Mechanical, Hydraulic, electrical & fire protection (MEP&F) BIM models and installation drawings
Deliver high quality technical support including value engineering opportunities at concept, tender or contract award
Ensure projects are progressed to satisfactory completion within guidelines and constraints of contract specifications, industry standards, quality and budget.
To be successful a candidate will require the following qualifications and experience:
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 10 years' experience in Mechanical & Hydraulic Design/ Contracts
IPENZ membership or equivalent
Extensive experience in complex HVAC mechanical services projects and technically proficient in all aspects of Building Service Engineering.
Experience in Design & Build HVAC Mechanical & Hydraulic projects and value engineering of existing consultant designs.
Excellent leadership skills with ability to manage expectations of key stakeholders.
Commercially astute, with experience in the timely preparation of calculations, design modelling and engineering support.
