Design Director

Details of the offer

We call ourselves a Nothing Is Impossible company.
We believe great ideas can change culture and shape society for the better.
And we're looking for likeminded creative people to help us make kickarse work in our Auckland office.
Join a diverse collective of creative souls hungry for greatness, respectful of each other, and optimistic in mindset.
We're looking for a Design Director who's ready to inspire, create, and deliver exceptional work.
You'll lead, mentor, and develop a team of designers—from juniors to seasoned—while collaborating closely with the Creative Services Manager, ECD, and wider teams to bring campaigns to life.
Your role will be pivotal in positioning the agency as a leader in design craft, producing award-winning work and attracting design-led opportunities.
You'll be hands-on, delivering exceptional design across all channels, including digital, social, print, branding, and finished art.
Your ideas will be innovative, backed by strong strategy and design rationale, with the ability to create illustrations, logos, and visual assets that push creative boundaries.
Whether it's BAU work or award-winning campaigns, you'll bring the same level of passion and craft to everything you do.
Managing production will also sit in your wheelhouse—you'll own the process, maintaining impeccable attention to detail and collaborating with external suppliers like photographers and illustrators to elevate the creative output.
You'll ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and always meet client expectations.
Equally important, you'll be confident and persuasive when presenting work.
You'll bring energy and clarity to articulating your design thinking, inspiring both your team and clients as the face of your work.
If you're ready to lead with creativity, passion, and craft, we'd love to hear from you.
