Harvey Furnishings is a proudly New Zealand-owned company with over 65 years of experience.We specialise in manufacturing, supplying, and installing a wide range of high-quality curtains, shutters, and blinds to enhance the style and beauty of homes.With our passion for the business, we are now looking for a Design Consultant with curtain and fabric expertise to join our Hamilton store team, serving the Waikato region.This role involves direct interaction with customers and is ideal for a people-focused, self-motivated individual who excels in delivering exceptional customer service.The role:Guide customers through the entire sales process, from the initial consultation and product recommendations to closing the deal and providing follow-up support.Forge long-term customer relationships by offering expert guidance tailored to their needs.Respond promptly to customer enquiries and deliver a positive experience.Measure windows and openings precisely and accurately.Although most leads come from referrals, there's also opportunity to generate new leads through networking and cold calling.Provide accurate quotes and follow through service to our customers.Successfully convert these quotes into sales.Promote a professional image and ensure all our customers receive an excellent experience.Coordinating two installers in the Waikato region.Day-to-Day administration tasks.You will have an artistic flair, a passion for design, and a positive can-do attitude.Our ideal candidate:Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal communication skills.Have a real passion for fabrics, textures, colors, and interior design.Maintain a professional image and ensure every customer enjoys an outstanding experience.Experience in conducting home sales visits and the ability to make customers feel at ease throughout the process.Driven and motivated by the opportunity, with a strong desire to meet (and ideally surpass!)
