You will ensure the accuracy and timely processing of student information while delivering exceptional customer service to our students and stakeholders.Your key responsibilities:File Maintenance -Maintain electronic records in compliance with NZQA and TEC regulations, ensuring that all enrolment documents are complete in the Student Management System (SMS).Study Link -Process the freeze/unfreeze of allowances via SAKBbase and manage student withdrawals through Verification Of Study (VOS) Online.Public Trust -Create and confirm student accounts, allocate StudyLink payments, and generate receipts, refunds, and acknowledgment forms.Wisenet and SELMA -Create and manage timetables, course offers, and enrolments for new students. Ensure proper documentation is uploaded to student logbooks.Data Entry -Accurately enter assessments into SMS and E-tracker, process police vetting forms, and submit the Student Data Return (SDR) to TEC.Other -Act as a backup for the Registrar's reporting functions and oversee the enrolment process for St. John's, among other administrative duties.What you'll bring:Proven Experience -Demonstrated experience in the Registry function within an academic institution, with a deep understanding of the New Zealand tertiary education sector.Communication Skills -Strong written and oral communication skills, enabling effective interaction with students and stakeholders.Attention to Detail -A high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of record maintenance and reporting.Organisational Skills -Exceptional coordination and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Cultural Sensitivity -A patient and empathetic approach, with a sensitivity towards the diverse backgrounds of our students.IT Proficiency -Proficiency in student management systems and the Microsoft Office suite, ensuring efficient data management and reporting.Education and Experience Requirements:Preferred:In-depth experience and knowledge of the New Zealand tertiary education sector, including direct liaison with TEC, NZQA, and MOE.Proven experience in administration and process improvement, with a track record of staff management.Why Join Us?At Skills, our culture is built on our values of Joy, Manaakitanga, Collaboration, and Boldness.
