Our kura is set in the heart of Glentunnel, a rural community with the great outdoors on its doorstep.
We are a contributing primary school of Y1–6, (EQI 432) with a current roll of 111 akonga.
We have a positive school culture where akonga thrive and demonstrate the school values of Manaakitanga, Whanaungatanga, Mahi Tahi, and Wananga.The new Deputy Principal will lead our curriculum and assessment development and initially teach in a Y1–2 class.
They will be an excellent practitioner of structured literacy and incorporate the science of learning in their learning programmes.
