St Joseph's is a place where your leadership will be appreciated, and you will be part of a warm, supportive community.Key responsibilitiesSENCO: Committed to equity and success for all students and can build relationships with students, parents, community and agencies to foster a secure and nurturing environment that strengthens student wellbeing and engagement.Culturally responsive leader: Strong knowledge of research-based, evidence-driven pedagogical practices around Maori and Pasifika perspectives, pedagogy, and a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.Curriculum and assessment: Possess strong expertise in the New Zealand Curriculum and assessment frameworks, with the ability to utilise and analyse data to inform decision-making, monitor student progress, support curriculum development that promote student learning.Professional learning & development: Drive staff development, curriculum design and implementation of new initiatives.
