Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Deputy principalEnglish, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Maori, The arts6MU and 1SMAMangere College, a diverse and inclusive secondary school, is seeking an experienced Deputy Principal with strong middle or senior leadership experience, including whole-school, curriculum leadership, and Principal's Nominee expertise.Key responsibilities:Provide strategic leadership in teaching and learning, with oversight of curriculum development and innovation across various subject areas.Lead and mentor staff professional development to foster a culture of continual improvement, collaboration, and high-performance teaching.Offer pastoral care for a designated year level, working closely with a team of dedicated Deans to support student wellbeing and academic success.Engage in other leadership areas and contribute to school-wide initiatives as negotiated with senior leadership.Mangere College, with around 800 students, fosters an environment where learners strive for personal excellence.
