As Deputy Principal, you will work alongside the Principal and staff to promote academic excellence, student well-being, and community engagement. You will model effective teaching and promote a culture of collaboration and inclusivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultural Responsiveness: Ensure Maori learners are supported and empowered to succeed.
Collaborative School Culture: Foster a team-oriented culture where all staff and students feel valued.
Lead by Example: Continue teaching effectively and engage students in meaningful learning.
Curriculum Leadership: Oversee the development of an inclusive curriculum that meets learner needs.
Mentorship and Professional Development: Support staff in their professional growth.
Student Well-being: Lead initiatives to support the holistic well-being of all students.
Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents and the wider community.
Operational Support: Assist the Principal with school management and strategic planning.
Data-Informed Leadership: Use student achievement data to guide decisions and track progress.
School Development: Lead initiatives to improve student achievement and learning outcomes.
