He korero mou | About you In this pivotal role, you will lead on setting and implementing our employment relations approach, maintaining key relationships with unions, and influencing and supporting other Justice sector and public service agencies.
You will play a key role in leading and supporting the change required as we continue to deliver better outcomes under Hokai Rangi.
You will lead a large specialist team of tier-three Directors across People and Capability, Employee Relations, People Operations, Communication and Government Services, Office of the DCE and Talent and Leadership.

* Well-developed interpersonal communication skills, using these to enrol, connect, engage, inform and negotiate successfully within a range of different environments.
* Proven experience and success in transforming, leading and shaping an organisational culture towards a more humanistic, caring, values led, resilient and learning culture.
* Ability to develop and maintain strong working relations internally and with external agencies and stakeholder groups, in particular unions.
* Strong risk management capability and awareness.
