We are seeking a Depot Sales Manager to provide excellent levels of service to trade customers and exceed sales and profitability targets through proactive value-adding account management, whilst leading and maintaining the smooth running of the day-to-day operational functions and management of the Depot Operations.
Reporting to the Branch Operator, you will lead and direct all activities related to people, safety, customer outcomes, innovation, and growth to operational excellence. Coaching and developing the team whilst fostering strong relationships with the team, the Branch network, and customers.
This is a permanent full-time role working Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain quality relationships with current customers at all levels. Liaise with relevant stakeholders during the customer's project to ensure everyone is up to date with the requirements. Develop and maintain a new business plan that includes target customers, categories, and measures to track these. Implement strategies to profitably grow key product areas including frame and truss, installed solutions, and core building lines. Achieve or exceed budgeted levels of sales and margin to managed trade customers. Retain and maintain existing business. Support the implementation of HS&E procedures in the business that meet local standards and Fletcher requirements and support and implement company-wide safety initiatives as appropriate. About you: We are looking for an individual who is highly self-motivated and customer-focused, with a proven track record of meeting & exceeding operational goals, KPIs, and strategic leadership skills.

Understanding and experience in the building sector; however, operational, sales, and leadership experience are of primary importance.
