The opportunity:
As a Department Manager looking after our Sealing Department in Central Otago you will ensure delivery of work on time, within budget and to the highest quality. More importantly, you will lead and inspire your team to success.
In addition to the above you will:
Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and personal growth.
Oversee daily operations ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure your strategy aligns with company goals and objectives.
Your primary focus will be safety all the time, every time.
To be successful in this role, you will:
BE or NZCE or significant industry experience (Diploma in engineering or relevant industry)
Minimum 5 years' relevant experience
Experience managing and developing teams (preferred)
Relevant department knowledge and understanding
Safety related certification
Current class 1 drivers licence
You will be a supportive and collaborative leader with a passion for developing and growing talent. You will have strong financial and business acumen.
