Starting Early 2025.Position: Dental Hygienist/Oral Health TherapistResponsibilities:Conduct thorough oral examinations and assess patients' oral health.Perform scaling, polishing, and root planning procedures.Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care.Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with periodontists and other dental professionals.Take and interpret dental radiographs.Assist in the management of periodontal disease and dental implants.Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.Provide exceptional patient care and address any concerns or questions.Qualifications:Degree or diploma in Dental Hygiene or Oral Health Therapy.Current registration with the Dental Council of New Zealand.Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in dental care.A patient-focused approach and a passion for promoting oral health.Please note, applicants for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa (sponsorship may be available for the right candidate); a pre-employment CV police check and health check are required as per current Ministry of Health guidelines.
