Job Description
Lumino Mount Eden and White Smiles are looking for a reliable 5 day a fortnight Dental Assistant to join our close-knit team!
As a Dental Assistant, you will support a highly experienced team of clinicians. You will be assisting them with diverse and interesting dental procedures during patient appointments. You will also take responsibility for instrument sterilisation, infection control, and stock control. Not only will you be assisting with general dental duties, but you will also get to experience some Orthodontic procedures. You will be required to help out at reception from time to time, so being a people person is essential.
The hours for the role are:
Week 1
Monday 8am - 5pm
Thursday 8am - 5pm
Friday 8am - 1pm
Week 2
Tuesday 8am - 5pm
Thursday 8am - 5pm
Our ideal candidate would have flexibility to work at our other location at Lumino Ponsonby with the Dentist.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant
Ideally, sterilisation and/or customer-facing experience.
Warm and positive attitude and team-orientated approach.
Strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail.
Computer savvy skills with the ability to pick up things quickly.
Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.

Our practice is one of the largest and busiest in the Lumino family, boasting a dedicated team of 4 dentists and 4 hygienists/therapists. Many of us have worked together for over a decade, creating a warm and fun atmosphere that our patients appreciate.
