Dental Assistant/Administration

We are looking for a part-time dental assistant for 12 months to cover maternity leave.Start date: January 13th 2025Hours:Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:30-5 (with one hour for lunch 12-1).About the position:This role is split between chair-side assistant to the dentist (or hygienist), sterilising and preparing equipment after use, and front desk duties (making appointments, taking payments, etc.). We are a busy practice with 4 dentists, a hygienist, practice manager, and 4 dental assistants. We work as an efficient team and would love to find another person who is practical, has good time management, and works well with others. Previous dental experience is preferred but not essential.Your Skills and Personality:A positive and friendly demeanor with a can-do attitude, willing to go the extra mile.Demonstrated experience in dental assisting preferred but not necessary.Previous experience with Exact Software of Excellence preferred but not necessary.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and collaboratively as an effective team member.
