We have a fantastic opportunity in our kitchen brigade for a passionate Part-Time Demi Chef wishing to expand their culinary horizons. You will bring your passion for food and skills to surprise and delight our guests throughout the dining experience.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver a wonderful culinary experience to all guests.Ensure all food produced is in line with kitchen recipes and standards.Be familiar with the other kitchen sections, promoting flexibility and productivity.Check all food is stored and handled as per current food health and hygiene regulations.Ensure that work area, equipment, and section are kept clean at all times, in accordance with current health and hygiene regulations.Monitor daily kitchen food and product requirements and advise the supervisor of these well in advance.Monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.Discuss food preparation issues with Managers and kitchen and waiting staff.Monitor food preparation and wastage costs and control these by following efficient preparation methods and standard recipes.QualificationsAbout You Minimum two (2) years commercial cookery experience in a similar role, preferably including 5-star experience.Holds a Level 5 Diploma in Professional Cookery.Has the aptitude and willingness to undertake further development with SO/.Physically fit and able to stand for the duration of a shift (8 hours).Organizes time and works efficiently.Willingness to work weekends and public holidays due to business needs.Projects a professional image at all times through personal presentation and interpersonal skills.Effective numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills.Appreciates and maintains an effective outlet for stress.Additional InformationSO/ BENEFITS Staff meals provided.Uniform provided and laundered.International accommodation and retail discounts across varying Ennismore & Accor Hotels properties.Family & Friends Hotel Discounts.Opportunities for further development and worldwide career progression within Ennismore/Accor.Ongoing recognition and rewards!Our Commitment To Diversity & Inclusion
