Dementia Advisor - West Coast Service Of Dementia Canterbury, 16 Hours Per Week

Make a difference in the lives of people affected by dementia! We are seeking a qualified Health professional (Social Worker Occupational Therapist, Nurse, SLT or other Allied Health discipline) preferably with full professional membership/registration  Passionate about supporting people diagnosed with dementia to live well.Proven engagement skills at all levelsWe are on the hunt for an exuberant team player who will be based on the West Coast. What does Dementia Canterbury do? We are a long-established charity providing specialist community-based support for people diagnosed with dementia, their care partners and whanau.Our interdisciplinary clinical team includes Social Workers, Educators, Occupational Therapists, Activity Co-ordinators and Volunteer Co-ordinator who provide information, education, support, cognitive therapy, advocacy, activities, and social support programs to people affected by dementia and whanau living in the community.This position is: West Coast based.
