As a Demand and Replenishment Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our shelves are always stocked with the right products at the right time. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining forecast models, analysing sales data, and collaborating with our Category team to optimise our inventory levels. Your insights will help us meet customer demand, maximise sales, and minimise wastage, especially considering the complexities of shelf life and the number of products and suppliers involved.
Key Responsibilities: Stock Management: Own the ordering and moving of our stock to ensure timely allocation and replenishment of stock into stores to ensure we meet financial targets and availability. Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate forecast models by incorporating business intelligence and data from Finance, Marketing, Categories, and Operations to ensure the correct levels of stock are maintained in the business, whilst meeting weeks of cover targets. Inventory Optimisation: Manage inventory levels to set weeks of cover targets to meet customer demand while optimising profitable sales and minimising markdowns.Performance Analysis: Provide analysis and insights on sales and stock performance to support category planning and product lifecycle management.Collaboration: Work closely with our external Suppliers as well as our Finance, Marketing, and Category teams to ensure relevant and informed decision-making. Availability: Has a strong understanding of range segmentation and how it is applied to maximise availability across the assortment. What We're Looking For: FMCG Experience: Proven experience in the fast-moving consumer goods sector, understanding the complexities of shelf life and managing a large number of products and suppliers.Commercial Insight: Strong understanding of the retail business model and proven experience in demand planning. Analytical Skills: Advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyse data to make informed decisions.Communication: Excellent people and communication skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Proactive Attitude: Energetic, self-motivated, and able to manage tasks independently from start to finish.Customer Focus: A genuine passion for good food and a commitment to maintaining a customer-centric culture.Team Player: Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and contribute to a positive team environment.Why Join Us?
