Salary Range: $110k – $120k NZD base salary + Bonus Scheme + Excellent benefits

Location: Auckland, New Zealand

In this role, you will be on the lookout for an experienced demand planner with high levels of analytical, planning, problem solving, and stakeholder management skills to join their small and collaborative team. The role will best suit an experienced demand planner who is looking to develop their leadership capabilities and enjoys working in an environment where you can take responsibility, ownership, and accountability in a fast-paced environment. Critical to the role will be your forecasting, modelling, planning, and analytical skills, as well as your statistical and trend-reading ability. You will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating strong relationship management, communication, and confident influencing skills to ensure your success in building and maintaining positive working relationships.

Key Accountabilities Include:

Publishing an accurate monthly demand plan for the business.

Identify, communicate, and resolve demand issues as they occur.

Implement new demand planning methodologies to drive continuous improvement.

Managing, measuring, and reporting forecast accuracy.

Compile and produce forecasting data for S&OP on a monthly business review meeting.

Maintain all planning parameters.

Building internal relationships and problem solving.

Gatekeeper for forecast exception process.

Qualifications and Essential Attributes:

Demonstrated demand planning experience, ideally within an FMCG environment, with qualification related to the supply chain sector preferred but not essential.

Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.

Experience using ERP systems such as SAP.

Strong numerical and analytical skills; and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Preferably someone with 2–5 years of experience in a similar field.
