Role OverviewIn this dynamic role, you will directly report to the Supply Chain Manager and play a crucial part in shaping our company's success. You will lead the monthly forecasting process, ensuring accurate and insightful reporting on forecast accuracy by channel and customer. Your efforts will contribute significantly to our strategic objectives by providing a stable demand plan that informs our supply, manufacturing, and inventory plans.Key ResponsibilitiesLeading all sales forecasting activities across multiple sales channels and products for the New Zealand market.Using our fully integrated demand planning software, TM1 Planning Analytics, and in collaboration with the commercial team, you will lead the demand forecasting process, providing analytics and insights to improve the quality of forecasts.Ensuring alignment with and delivery to business priorities, initiatives, and activities, while meeting agreed Key Performance Indicator (KPI) levels. Managing relationships and facilitating effective information flow between the DSP function and internal functional and business partners, including Production, Sales, Marketing, and Finance.Playing a pivotal role by actively participating in the Vitaco Sales and Operations Planning process, including Business Strategic Plan, Budget Planning, Monthly Sales & Marketing Planning (SAM), and Block Planning.Overseeing new product introductions and the phase-out of old lines.What can you expect in return?Competitive salary with annual reviewsFlexible working arrangements, including some work-from-home optionsGreat discounts on our products and access to discounted health insuranceSubsidized on-site café and a day off on your birthdayAccess to naturopathic advice from in-house experts and a fun, supportive work environmentSkills And Competencies You'll NeedA tertiary qualification in Business or a Commerce Degree would be highly beneficial for this role5+ years of demand planning experience3+ years of experience in the FMCG or pharmaceutical industryExceptional MS Excel skills are essential, preferably with a working knowledge of Power Query and Power PivotExperience using TM1 Planning Analytics would be an advantageCommercial acumen and the ability to successfully lead or participate in cross-functional projectsExperience in stakeholder management, with strong influencing and interpersonal skillsThe right candidate must be proactive, a natural problem solver, and skilled in implementing sustainable solutions to address business needs and issues.About UsVitaco is the home of an outstanding collection of leading New Zealand and Australian supplements, health food, and sports nutrition brands.
