Role Overview
In this dynamic role, you will directly report to the Supply Chain Manager and play a crucial part in shaping our company's success. You will lead the monthly forecasting process, ensuring accurate and insightful reporting on forecast accuracy by channel and customer. Your efforts will contribute significantly to our strategic objectives by providing a stable demand plan that informs our supply, manufacturing, and inventory plans.
Key Responsibilities
Leading all sales forecasting activities across multiple sales channels and products for the New Zealand market.
Using our fully integrated demand planning software, TM1 Planning Analytics, and in collaboration with the commercial team, you will lead the demand forecasting process, providing analytics and insights to improve the quality of forecasts.
Ensuring alignment with and delivery to business priorities, initiatives, and activities, while meeting agreed Key Performance Indicator (KPI) levels. Managing relationships and facilitating effective information flow between the DSP function and internal functional and business partners, including Production, Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
Playing a pivotal role by actively participating in the Vitaco Sales and Operations Planning process, including Business Strategic Plan, Budget Planning, Monthly Sales & Marketing Planning (SAM), and Block Planning.
Overseeing new product introductions and the phase-out of old lines.

Skills And Competencies You'll Need
A tertiary qualification in Business or a Commerce Degree would be highly beneficial for this role
5+ years of demand planning experience
3+ years of experience in the FMCG or pharmaceutical industry
Exceptional MS Excel skills are essential, preferably with a working knowledge of Power Query and Power Pivot
Experience using TM1 Planning Analytics would be an advantage
Commercial acumen and the ability to successfully lead or participate in cross-functional projects
Experience in stakeholder management, with strong influencing and interpersonal skills
The right candidate must be proactive, a natural problem solver, and skilled in implementing sustainable solutions to address business needs and issues.
