Job Description
At TOMRA Food we are committed to our brand and as we continue to invest globally, we are looking for a Demand Planner to join our team on a 12-month fixed term basis to cover a period of parental leave.
This role is crucial as it bridges Sales and Operations, converting opportunities and work scopes into tangible deliverables. It involves establishing significant project milestones and assigning product deliverables to the appropriate manufacturing sites and suppliers.
Here's a sneak peek into some of what you will be doing:

Manage demand of a global product family of four with an annual volume of about 900 product line deliverables.
Develop a demand forecast model based on project sales opportunities and incorporating business intelligence and other factors gathered from sales, marketing, finance, etc.
Review historical trends, demand drivers in developing statistical forecast models and evaluate the results.
You will own defining the key project milestone and ensuring high level of project planning accuracy meeting customer expectations.
Develop statistical forecasting approach using CRM insights, commodity trends and other factors and make it operational and systematise by linking to the ERP system.
Establish and document Demand & Project Planning better way of working aligning with ERP, CRM and project tool.
You are expected to participate and provide the inputs for the monthly IBP process and chair some of the regular cross-functional meetings (S&OP, Supply Forum).
Measure and report global key milestones KPI results. Align, change or improvement reporting and measurements when needed.

Qualifications
About you:

Works with high level of accuracy and urgency, strong analytical and critical thinking with broad understanding of end-to-end supply chain functions.
Possess great communication and presentation skills.
In depth understanding of different planning models, time fences, different forecasting models, and its applications.
Minimum of 10+ years in Supply Chain excelling in demand management.
Have experience in project planning using Microsoft project or Smartsheet.
Experienced in ERP and CRM implementation will be highly considered.
Experienced of using Salesforce (CRM tool) and SAP/LN for ERP system.
Exposure in a global multi-site manufacturing environment is desirable.
Technical Sales experience or able to translate technical drawings is a plus.
Exposure in global equipment manufacturing company is a plus.
BA/BS degree or its equivalent in relevant area – Supply Chain, Business, Finance or Engineering.
