You will be responsible for forecasting demand, planning inventory levels, and ensuring product availability to meet customer demands. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in demand planning tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to optimise supply chain efficiency. This role plays a crucial part in the seamless operation of our daily activities.Key Skills and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain accurate forecasting models and sales data to predict demand for our exclusive product offerings.Participate in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to balance supply and demand, optimise inventory levels, and meet operational targets.Manage international purchasing activities, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines and business expectations.Monitor market trends and adapt procurement strategies to optimise purchasing decisions and mitigate risks.Analyse historical data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improving forecast accuracy and supply chain efficiency.Manage inventory aging and clearance planning to minimise obsolete stock and maximise inventory turnover.Build strong relationships with suppliers, product teams, and logistics partners to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.Maintain pricing databases and perform regular A, B, and C analysis to support pricing strategies and optimise procurement decisions.Ensure efficient international shipping logistics, managing bookings, delays, and communications with shipping agents and suppliers.Oversee product consolidation offshore and maintain data integrity across multiple brands within our portfolio.You will haveBachelor's degree in Supply Chain management, Business Administration, or related field, or at least three years relevant experience in a related field.Or a NZQF Diploma, or at least three years of relevant experience.Proven experience in demand planning, procurement, or supply chain roles.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in demand planning software.Advanced Excel skills including data analysis, pivot tables, and statistical functions.Experience in retail, manufacturing, or consumer goods is preferred.What we offerCompetitive salaryTools of the trade, and a day off on your birthday!Ongoing training and development opportunitiesJoining a market leader that values staff development, customer satisfaction, and celebrating wins.If you're ready to make a significant impact, join our team today!
