This senior level, Delivery Manager (Software Engineering) role drives delivery of the Vista Cloud offering to customers, ensuring that Engineering meets project goals on time, and managing any risks, issues, or changes along the way.It's not a role for the faint-hearted, so sitting back and just monitoring isn't going to cut it!We're looking for a software engineering delivery manager through and through, to proactively keep multiple stakeholders informed of project scope and status. You'll need a solid technical background in software development, great project management skills, and experience working with software development teams and stakeholders across various regions and time zones.About the roleProject Management and DeliveryDevelop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and monitor progress against these plans throughout the project lifecycle.Develop a close relationship with Cloud Enablement to ensure project clarity and delivery expectations.Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams across the Engineering Department, to ensure that project objectives are met on time.Translate technical documents and concepts into stakeholder-friendly documents.Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.Ensure that quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle, and that all deliverables meet expectations.Manage project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant documents.Provide updates and timelines for key deliverables in the SDLC.Foster a collaborative and productive team environment and promote best practices in project management.Maintain data and project tracking in solutions provided.Stakeholder ManagementAct as a single, reliable interface for Engineering on any delivery requests from other Divisions. Effectively prioritize, manage and deliver these requests within agreed timelines, ensuring readiness for deployment.Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders throughout the scheduling and delivery stages, providing timely updates as the process evolves.About VistaVista is a world-leading company that makes software for the cinema industry.
