This hybrid role requires both a tech-savvy professional and an inspiring leader.
The Delivery Manager will be instrumental in the planning, scheduling, and management of customized software development projects, ensuring their successful execution from inception to completion.
The ideal candidate will possess a high level of technical expertise coupled with exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning and Execution:Lead brainstorming sessions to define project goals and scope.Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, milestones, and deadlines.Assign project tasks to team members, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities.Oversee the execution of each project phase, maintaining focus on timelines and deliverables.Budget Management:Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and accountability.Monitor project expenditures and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.Stakeholder Communication:Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders.Facilitate regular updates and meetings to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders promptly.Work closely with department heads and cross-functional teams to align project objectives with organizational goals.Foster a collaborative environment to drive project success and team synergy.Technical Expertise:Manage projects with a high degree of technical complexity.Utilize expertise in software installation, upgrades, site maintenance, and customized program/app development to support project needs.Review and validate the feasibility of project proposals, ensuring technical soundness.Leadership:Inspire and motivate the project team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering professional growth and development.Qualifications:Must have current or prior experience working in a professional services consulting environment.Proven experience as a Delivery Manager, Technical Project Manager, or similar role in managing bespoke software development projects.Strong technical background with expertise in relevant technologies and architectures.Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of successfully leading project teams.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively in a fast-paced environment.
