A FEW LAST BITS You'll need to hold NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa to be a Dasher. DoorDash drivers (Dashers) are independent contractors. That means you'll need to sort out your own tax, but we help make it easy by giving you detailed breakdowns of your earnings. If you're using a motor vehicle to dash, you'll need a licence and your vehicle will need a current rego and WOF.
