As we expand our operations, we are looking for a dedicated Delivery Driver to join our New Plymouth branch on a casual basis. As a Delivery Driver at Service Foods, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in pristine condition. The role : Casual Position 2 days a week (Thursday/Friday) 4-6 hours per day Location: 14 Saltash Street, Vogeltown, New Plymouth Immediate start The job: You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of food products to various locations in and around New Plymouth, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the integrity of our business. Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans and trucks) to transport goods Load and unload products, ensuring they are securely and safely transported. Deliver goods according to customer orders in a timely manner Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation Provide outstanding customer service by interacting professionally with clients Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe and efficient delivery Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly Assist with other warehouse duties when not on delivery runs Fill vehicles with fuel and report on any maintenance requirement Perform daily checks – oils, coolant, WOF etc. Wash and clean trucks or other vehicles when required Help team in picking/dispatching if needed The candidate: You will have a full Class 2 drivers licence, must be able to drive manual Have clear communication and customer service skills Knowledge of Taranaki region and its surrounding areas is a plus Reasonably good literacy and numeracy skills Be confident, reliable, flexible and have attention to detail Clean driving and criminal records Have prior NZ experience and knowledge of basic food ingredients. Be physically strong and fit; should be able to lift up to 25 kg. Possess good organizational and time management skills.
