This is a full time, permanent role, working 90 hours per fortnight.
Reporting to our Mill Operations Manager, your key focus will be to deliver product to shareholders and customers with an AugerFarmlands truck.
Effective communication as well as a strong focus on health and safety and compliance within a transport environment is a must.
You'll concentrate on:
Accurately collecting and delivering consignments for Farmlands.Ensuring that your load is safe, secure and compliant with all relevant New Zealand laws.Communicating with customers, internal stakeholders and service providers as instructed and/or required.Farmlands is building a forward-looking and agile business, and your role will play a critical part in the delivery of these goals by improving productivity capability across our branch network.
Mohou ake | About you We're looking for an individual with experience in a driving role ideally gained from within the rural, agricultural, or related sector.
You will have experience and/or understanding of processes, i.e.
inventory, stock control and merchandising.
You will be an effective communicator, able to build strong working relationships internally and externally, in person and on the phone.
You will be confident at multitasking and able to remain calm under pressure.
Your proven experience in stores and driving will allow you to navigate ambiguous situations and successfully negotiate solutions.
You must have:
