As a Delivery Driver at Service Foods, you willplay a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and inpristine condition. The job:
Roster: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri & Sat (Wed & Sun off)Hours: 5.00 am to 2.00/2.30 pm finishLocation: William Durant Drive, Trentham, Upper HuttImmediate startThe offer: Full-time employment with regular hoursOpportunities for growth within the companyOn-the-job training and supportAccess to company staff purchase schemeThe role: You will be responsible for delivering a wide rangeof food products to various locations in and around Wellington, providingexceptional customer service and maintaining the integrity of our business.
Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans and trucks) to transportgoodsLoad and unload products, ensuring they are securely and safelytransported.Deliver goods according to customer orders in a timely mannerMaintain accurate delivery logs and documentationProvide outstanding customer service by interacting professionallywith clientsAdhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe andefficient deliveryReport any vehicle maintenance issues promptlyAssist with other warehouse duties when not on delivery runsFill vehicles with fuel and report on any maintenance requirementPerform daily checks – oils, coolant, WOF etc.Wash and clean trucks or other vehicles when requiredHelp team in picking/dispatching if neededThe candidate: You will have
a full Class 2 drivers licence, must beable to drive manualHave clear communication and customerservice skillsKnowledge of Wellington and itssurrounding areas is a plusReasonably good literacy and numeracyskillsBe confident, reliable, flexible andhave attention to detailClean driving and criminal recordsHave prior NZ experience and knowledgeof basic food ingredients.Be physically strong and fit; should beable to lift up to 25 kg.Possess good organizational and timemanagement skills.Be a team player with a positiveattitudeHave reliable transport for commuteIf you are a responsible and dedicated individualwho is passionate about delivering quality food products and providingexceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply for this excitingopportunity.
