Deli Manager - Pak'Nsave Dunedin

The ideal candidate will have the following experience, qualities, and skills:Previous management experience in a fast-paced retail, wholesale, restaurant, or supermarket environmentStrong numerical and analytical capabilitiesHighly organised, reliable, and accountablePassionate about food and delivering best quality products at best prices for our customersAn outstanding communicator and committed to building strong relationships with team, suppliers, and customersHold or be capable of obtaining a first aid certificateYour management responsibilities will include:Planning, organising, and executing the day-to-day operations and merchandising of the Deli departmentEffectively leading the Deli team, including overseeing staff rostering, training and task allocationStock ordering, inventory control and category management, including receiving deliveries and executing retail standardsAchieving sales, wages, and other financial targetsActively promoting and maintaining food safety and health and safety initiativesThis is a full-time position, ideally working five days and 45 hours per week. The days and hours of work will be discussed at the interview stage and could be tailored to suit the individual; however, it will require early morning starts and some weekend work.
