Defect Manager - 12 Month ContractWellington Based - ASAP StartAbout the RoleWe are looking for a skilled Defect Manager to lead bug management across various test phases of our programme. You will work with key stakeholders to ensure efficient bug resolution and support the bug management process.Key Responsibilities:Lead bug management activities and endorse the bug management process.Run bug triage meetings, assign bugs to appropriate action owners, and accelerate their resolution.Coordinate defect activities with internal domain teams, IT teams, and third-party vendors.Track and monitor bugs regularly, communicating risks and issues to stakeholders.Contribute to bug progress reports and dashboards, making recommendations to QA and Programme Leadership teams.Essential Skills and Experience:Strong Quality Assurance skills and experience applied across the Programme.Proven ability to work within high-performing teams and coordinate efforts.Proficiency in using Jira as a Bug Management tool.High competence in QA processes, written and verbal communication, and attention to detail.Experience implementing bug management strategies and ensuring process adherence.Desirable Skills and Experience:Knowledge and experience in the banking industry.Experience working with external partners.Proven experience with complex, integrated Programmes of work.You must be in New Zealand with the legal right to work.If you have the above skills and experience, and are available immediately for this 12 month contract, please apply.Ref: 128226Beyond Recruitment Technology, Transformation & Digital, connecting IT talent with IT opportunities.
