We are looking to hire to support our continued growth. Our team partners with some of New Zealand's largest Infrastructure businesses, central government and local government on strategic, economic, financial, and long-term, large-scale infrastructure projects where we are dedicated to delivering outcomes for communities that are fit for the future. Our work provides strategic, transactional and lead advisory services in relation to our clients' major investments, including strategy and planning, funding and financing, governance and management, business cases, structuring, procurement, transactions, corporate finance and M&A work.We are looking for individuals with high energy, a desire to learn and grow and a keen interest in how infrastructure can impact the lives of New Zealanders. Our work spans a range of skills and areas. We are specifically looking for candidates with strong financial, analytical, corporate finance and/or PPP experience. If you have this skill set and are passionate about the infrastructure space, please get in touch.As a Associate Director/Director in our Infrastructure team you will:Perform and lead the team to undertake commercial and financial analysis on infrastructure projects, including private sector and commercial public sector rolesProvide high quality commercial advice to our clientsDeliver high quality written and presentation materials to clientsLead project teams and take on responsibility for the coaching and development of staff across the Infrastructure teamBuilding relationships and your brand in the market, as well as finding new business opportunities and supporting the development and delivery of client proposals and pitchesPlaying a strategic role in helping our team achieve its growth objectivesDeveloping knowledge through appropriate research, keeping current with firm's technical and industry guidance, training and interactions with internal PwC specialistsBe part of our leaders in our highly skilled teamNga pukenga kei a koe / Skills and experienceA tertiary qualification in finance or relevant disciplineExperience with major infrastructure projects in a senior advisory or delivery role, this can be in a Big 4, investment banking, Government/public sector, or construction sector environmentExperience producing high quality reportsA strong work ethic, self-motivated, proactive and confident approach to your workExceptional verbal and written communicationA team focused style with proven experience in mentoring and inspiring team membersBe an analytical and critical thinker, able to break down complex problems and establish effective solutions in a collaborative wayHave demonstrated success creating bespoke solutions and adapting within an ever changing environmentNga ahuatanga hirahira o te mahi ki PwC / Highlights of working at PwC NZUnrivalled level of access to industry expertise, both locally and through our wider global network of member firms, where you'll be enabled by cutting-edge technology.A cash contribution to enable you to set up your home work space.
