Who would suit this role?
We're looking for someone who knows a thing or two about cars! Previous automotive car buying or selling experience would be a huge advantage in this role but it's not essential. It's important you're a resilient person who has the confidence to build relationships and manage your own time.
What does the role entail?
This is a pivotal role for the Turners family as our branch activity increases. You will be purchasing cars from Dealers and the public to help supply the ever-increasing public demand for Turners cars. This role requires the delivery of high-quality customer experience, moves at a fast pace, and could see you on the road maintaining and creating relationships with dealers throughout Otago and buying cars by appointment in the branch.
If this interests you, what you need to bring is:
A good knowledge of cars
Previous buying/sales experience
Confidence interacting and negotiating with people
Proven successful sales record with the ability to achieve targets
Ability to proactively network and build relationships – both internal and external
Sound self-management and the ability to remain focused under pressure
Positive and informative communication skills with a high level of integrity
Previous experience in the automotive industry would be highly advantageous
The want to have a 5 Day working week, with a willingness to work a weekend day
