Account & Relationship Management (Banking & Financial Services) Dealer Account ManagerUDC Finance has grown alongside the businesses that have built our country's economy like transport, forestry, agriculture and manufacturing, and we're proud to be New Zealand's finance company. We are one of the largest finance companies operating in the New Zealand market.We are currently looking for an experienced Dealer Account Manager to join our Dealer Account Management team based at Albert Street. We are also open to applicants in the Hamilton area.Primary Role:Responsible for proactively managing new and existing dealer relationships to obtain maximum lending activity by providing quality service and training in retail and wholesale products - both directly and through Equipment and Motor Vehicle Dealer Account Managers.Identify, target and secure new quality dealerships that will provide volumes of quality business to meet business targets.Grow the total revenue and profitability of a portfolio of dealer relationships through strategy development and a detailed understanding of dealership business and opportunities.Responsibilities:Achieves sales, margin, profit and growth targets through establishing sales and marketing tactics and strategies to ensure maximisation from portfolio of dealerships.Optimises revenue from dealerships through the application of appropriate pricing within discretions and guidelinesProactively researches dealership opportunities, wins new business and maintains regular contacts and relationships.Negotiates beneficial outcomes for dealers and UDC.Monitors adverse dealership trends and takes appropriate and timely corrective action.Ensures that UDC nationwide strategies for distributors are implemented.Provides training and support for dealer network.Identifies, builds and maintains relationships with UDC dealerships by adopting UDC's sales process, including the development of active calling programs designed to identify all dealership requirements.Your experience:Proven sales experience with strong relationship and stakeholder management ability.Experience in an industry aligned to the Motor Vehicle sector would be advantageous.Understanding of financial statements and credit assessment developed through a range of business experience and based on sound financial acumen.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and computer literacy.Strong relationship management experience and influencing skills, networking and negotiation skills previously demonstrated in winning new customers.Ability to manage complexity/ambiguity and conflicting demands.Highly motivated and capable of working independently and autonomously, demonstrating problem solving techniques.We are proud of our heritage, but focused on future growth alongside our customers' success.
