The Job
As an Inbound Lead, you will be responsible for supervising the Inbound Department within our Distribution Centre (DC) in East Tamaki, Auckland. You will ensure efficient operations, meet customer demands, and foster a high-performance culture.
Your duties will include:
Supervising the day-to-day operations of the Inbound function to achieve maximum productivity and cost-effectiveness.
Managing workload to satisfy customer orders and operational requirements, ensuring timely processing and delivery.
Implementing and maintaining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Encouraging a culture of innovative thought and financial discipline, aligning with the company's Mission, Vision, Principles, and Values.
Reporting possible procedural improvements to the AM or PM Supervisor and driving continuous process improvements.

You Will:
Have extensive warehousing/distribution experience in inbound processes and procedures.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills in leading small teams with a focus on meeting KPIs and objectives.
Foster team engagement and contribute to a positive culture.
Exhibit open communication and good people management skills.
Have the ability and system knowledge for operational planning.
Spend approximately 60% of your time on system and planning tasks and 40% on the floor.
Be experienced in managing and meeting budgets.
Ideally have proficiency in SAP, JDA, and Excel (intermediate level) or a similar system.
