You will be responsible for coordinating staff and operations to drive apple throughput in the packhouse.Key responsibilities include:Manage the flow of apples to people and plant availabilityLeading the Technician team to ensure the Spectrum system and equipment operates efficiently and accurately.Identify packhouse efficiencies to optimise the flow of fruit at all timesProblem-solving for processing issues that ariseProduction analysis and reportingDocument best practice and provide training to enhance performanceOur packing season starts mid-late February and goes through to the end of October – mid November.Day Shift hours are Monday-Saturday, 6am - 4pm during the season up to 65 hours per week and Monday-Friday offseason up to 40 hours per week.Skills You NeedTeam leadership experienceRelevant production experience, in a packhouse, food manufacturing or related environmentSound knowledge of Compac Spectrum software, or similar (preferred).Experience working with strict product, process and packaging standards, regulations, and market access requirements.Experience training and supervising othersUnderstanding of the commercial drivers of production performanceReporting, SOP writing and IT capabilityCompetitive remunerationRockit Monthly & Annual AwardsRockit Well Health BenefitsHealth Insurance OptionsCareer Pathway opportunitiesAbout RockitWe're a New Zealand company taking the nutritious goodness of our unique miniature apples to the world.
