Crane Technician

We've recently hired a new Crane Tech to join our team and now are on the look out for an additional team member.As a Crane Technician, you'll play a vital role in keeping the cargo flowing and connecting Hawke's Bay with the world.The Crane-Services Team provide technical services and support to our mobile harbour crane fleet. This fleet is critical, front line equipment and a key contributor to our operational success. We're looking for a Crane Technician with an electro-mechanical focus and who has a broad range of experience across industry.About you:You will be proficient with complex electrical and or mechanical systems, preferably within an industrial or heavy plant environment.Experience with industrial PLCs is valuable.Experience with digitally controlled electrohydraulic or hydromechanical systems Ideally, you'll be a registered electrician or hold heavy engineering qualificationsYour background may be within the automotive industry or a similar discipline Be a positive member to the team and be an excellent communicator.As a self-starter, you'll actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement.Key responsibilities:Timely and accurate acquittal of day to day maintenance activities.Responsiveness to crane breakdowns/failures.Support maintenance of mobile plant as required.Form key relationships with internal and external customers.Support a positive team culture that prioritises health and safety.The successful candidate will be comfortable working at heights and will be available to work an on-call roster which may include weekend and public holiday work.Applications close on Wednesday 12th June 2024. Must have current eligibility to work in New Zealand and undertake all pre-employment checks.#J-18808-Ljbffr
