About Us: CAIQTEST Pacific is a leader in testing solutions, committed to delivering high-quality services with innovative and efficient technology. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Database Developer to join our dynamic team and drive the development and optimization of our database systems.
Position Overview: As a Database Developer at CAIQTEST Pacific, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our database systems to support our testing processes. You will work closely with lab technicians and other teams to ensure seamless integration, optimize performance, and ensure data accuracy and security. You are required to work 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:

Database Design: Design, develop, and implement robust database systems tailored to CAIQTEST Pacific's testing processes.
Schema and Data Management: Create and maintain database schemas, tables, views, and stored procedures to ensure data accuracy and efficiency.
ETL Processes: Develop and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for accurate data integration.
Performance Optimization: Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and other performance-enhancing techniques.
Security Compliance: Implement stringent data security measures and ensure compliance with local regulations and CIQ standards.
System Integration: Collaborate with lab technicians and other teams to ensure seamless integration of databases with testing systems.
Data Consistency: Implement processes to ensure data consistency across all systems, minimizing errors in the certification process.
Backup and Recovery: Perform regular database backups and establish robust disaster recovery plans to maintain data integrity and business continuity.
System Monitoring: Continuously monitor database systems to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.
Reporting and Analysis: Develop custom reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights into testing data.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of database systems, including design specifications and operational procedures.
Project Leadership: Lead database-related projects, coordinating with other teams to meet deadlines and ensuring continuous improvement of database solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
If you have no qualification, you must have at least 3 years related work experience as a Database Developer or similar role, with a strong understanding of database design and management.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools and processes.
Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Knowledge of data security and compliance standards.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to lead projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
