About the Role: We are looking for a talented Data Scientist to help create our next wave of features and products and be a key player in the Technology team. A few of the initiatives you will work on are: Working with large scale web analytical data (billions of signals per day) to create models to support customer acquisition in B2C and B2B. Investigate, develop and deploy derived features from existing data. From time to time, you will also work on internal projects such as lead scoring, retention and automation. Data Pipeline Development : Collaborate with the data engineering team to create, optimize, and maintain robust data pipelines that can handle billions of rows of data, ensuring data integrity and performance. Machine Learning Models : Use machine learning techniques and tools to create models, recommendation systems, and predictive analytics that power our product features. Feature Engineering : Translate business needs into actionable data features that can be deployed into our product offerings, improving user engagement and business impact. API Integration : Work with engineering teams to build and integrate APIs, ensuring smooth data flow and accessibility across services. Prototyping & Experimentation : Lead efforts to rapidly prototype and experiment with data products, iterating based on feedback to deliver the best solutions. Collaborate Across Teams : Partner with product managers, data engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure data products align with the business strategy. Skills & Experience You'll Bring: Programming Skills : Proficient in Python and SQL with a working knowledge of C# being a plus. Data Engineering : Strong experience or knowledge in building data pipelines and handling large datasets (with billions of rows). Machine Learning & AI : Expertise in machine learning concepts and tools, including building models and recommendation systems. Cloud Services : Experience with Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP for deploying and managing data products. Data Warehousing : Proven experience working with Snowflake or similar data warehousing technologies. APIs & Integrations : Experience in building and integrating APIs to expose data features and serve data products. A Product Mindset: You understand the product development lifecycle and know how to take data products from concept to deployment. The job is only done when our customers are using it to grow their business. You are comfortable with feature engineering, turning raw data into actionable insights that add real value to products. You have experience with prototyping and running experiments, iterating quickly based on data and feedback to enhance product features. Strong knowledge in data modeling, optimizing data storage and retrieval for product needs. Experience working with ETL processes to ensure efficient data transformation and loading. Nice to Have: Exposure to web analytics and advertising platforms (e.g., Adobe audience manager, Google Analytics). Knowledge of graph databases or network graph structures. Strong understanding of web and email technology to align with data product initiatives.
