Te whiwhinga mahi The Opportunity The Data Quality Analyst is a member of the National Collections, Data and Digital team, who have the collective accountability for maintaining and enhancing technology services and implementing and supporting Te Whatu Ora priorities.

As a Data Quality Analyst, you will be part of the team responsible for analysing mental health national collections data, providing feedback to contributing organisations and continually improving the quality of health and disability information.

You will also have the opportunity to collaborate and contribute to change projects, ensuring national collections data remains fit for purpose.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support a 24 x 7 services organisation that has a presence in most communities across New Zealand, and with a technology landscape that supports multiple business critical applications encompassing computing, networking, telecommunications, and cloud-based services.

You are able to adopt a wide range of technologies, tools and techniques to identify data quality issues and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

You are a big picture thinker but also interested in getting the details right.

Nga pukenga me nga wheako Skills and experience A relevant graduate and/or post-graduate qualification that involves data (e.g., Psychology, Statistics, Data Science, or Maths) and/or equivalent experience. Demonstrated familiarity with analytical skills and knowledge of statistical and data quality techniques working with data in the cloud and on-premise servers. Demonstrated ability to work in a programming language (e.g., R, SQL, Python, or others) to extract, manipulate and analyse big data. Knowledge of the Health Information Privacy Code and the Privacy Act. Ka kawea e koe You will bring: A commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner in all your actions.
